Obituary For Keith M. Lamond

Keith M. Lamond, 35, of Fall River, MA passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 with his loving family by his side. The son of David Lamond and Elizabeth (Griffin) Lamond, Keith was a lifelong resident of Fall River.

Keith was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and went on to work as a chef in several restaurants around Fall River, Westport and Bristol, RI. He took his role seriously and really enjoyed seeing people enjoying what he made. Keith was an avid musician with a real talent and passion for music. He was able to play several instruments and had a unique ability to translate the music in his head to the instrument. He was also a great vocalist and front man and played in several bands in the local music scene. Keith enjoyed the outdoors and would often be seen walking and, when the weather would permit, cycling all over the city. Most of all, Keith had a special charisma about him and was always the life of the party. People were always attracted to his unique personality and amazing sense of humor. Anyone that knew him likely has a hundred stories to tell about something he did or said that had them rolling over with laughter. His big smile and contagious laughter will be missed and never forgotten by those who loved him.

In addition to his loving mother, Elizabeth and father, David, Keith is survived by his brother, James Lamond of Somerset, MA; his sister, Grace Morrison and her husband Jeff along with his niece, Rosalyn, whom he absolutely adored, of Fall River, MA; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. He was the brother of the late Matthew Lamond.

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI where the family will receive relatives and guests for a Memorial Service on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 1-5PM. A Private Burial will be held at a later date.
