Obituary For Kenneth Korioth

Kenneth E. Korioth, 64, of Dallas, passed away unexpectedly on May 22, 2022. He was the loving father of Kimberly Ann Korioth of Manville, RI, and was the son of the late Sylvester Korioth and Billie Lee (Moss) Korioth. He is preceded in death by his brother Christopher Korioth, and is survived by his siblings Terry Korioth of Houston, TX, Jennifer Kenley of Grand Prairie, TX, Martha Korioth of Grand Prairie, TX, Mary Williams of Colorado Springs, CO, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Ken was born in Sherman, TX, and he graduated from Sherman High School, Austin College (B.A. in English and Theatre), and New England School of Law (J.D.). He was an Executive Consultant in the biopharmaceutical industry, a field in which he had worked for over 20 years. He spent 9 years working at MannKind Corporation as Vice President and Associate General Counsel, where he worked to launch Afrezza, a rapid-acting inhaled insulin device. Over the past five years, he served as the Director of the Board of iEMT, working to launch both a portable, low-cost medical imaging system for first responders, as well as copper based tracheal and endotracheal tubes for the reduction of ventilator associated pneumonia.

From a young age, Ken enjoyed theater, poetry, and music. He studied at Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, RI. He worked for a time at Camp Rising Sun, where he led the theater program and put together a production of Caucasian Chalk Circle. He went on to act in performances across the DFW Metroplex area, including Charing Cross Road and A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as other theater productions. He loved playing piano and organ for family and friends over the years at home and at St. Mary's Church in Sherman, TX, and he left behind a book of poems for his family.

Rosary and visitation hours will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, between the hours of 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Dannel Funeral Home, 302 South Walnut, Sherman, Texas, 75090.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 3, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Anne's Church, 728 South Travis Street, Sherman, Texas. There will be a private family burial at North Burial Ground in Bristol, Rhode Island
