Obituary For Kent Bradford Luther
Kent B. Luther, 83, of Bluff City, TN., and formerly of Bristol died Monday, July 20, 2015 at home. He was the husband of Mary (Soller) Luther.
Kent was born in Providence a son of the late Charles and Barbara (Fields) Luther.
Mr. Luther was and Architect and Project Manager for Raymond Construction in Bristol for over 33 years, before retiring.He was a US Air Force Veteran serving as an Airman First Class, in the Korean War. Mr. Luther was a graduate of Lane Technical Institute of Evans Indiana.
Mr. Luther has lived in Tennessee since 2009.
While living in Bristol he was a parishioner of St. Marys Church, he enjoyed spending time with his wife in their RV, cruising around the country, before settling in TN.
Mr. Luther was flight instructor and commercial pilot, a member of the Civil Air Patrol - Massachusetts Wing, a member of the Hydraullion Hose Company of the Bristol Fire Department and Rescue . Mr. Luther was on the building code of review and zoning board for the Town of Bristol.
Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters Cheryl Guadagnoli of West Barnstable MA, Debra Combs of Lees Summit Missouri, and Karen Crawford of North Kingstown RI. He was the brother of Keith Luther of Portsmouth RI. Mr. Luther was the grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 2.
His funeral will be held Saturday July 25,2015 at 8:30am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Marys Church, 330 Wood St, Bristol RI, burial with Military Honors will be in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, calling hours are SATURDAY Morning from 8:30am 9:30am. www.wjsmithfh.com

Aunt Mary and family, My deepest sympathy in this tough time. Uncle Kent will be greatly missed by me. I have lots of great memories with you both and that's what will help, and when you really need a laugh just think of Brussels sprouts I know i will. Love you . Love Rebecca

Mary so sorry to hear about KENT . we had alot of good times together rescue banquets and sta affairs will alway be on my mind. i would the servers but i have emphzysema don,t get out to much

Please accept my condolences on the death of Kent. I am always saddened when one of our collective descendants of the Bullock/ Newman clan leaves us. I am sad to read of your loss.
