Lamont J. McGee, 71, died Tuesday, August 15th at John Clarke Retirement & Nursing Center, Middletown. Born in Newport, a son of the late Ann E. Turner and Herman S. Santos.

He worked many years as a landscaper and in the food service industry. He was a longtime member of the Middletown Baptist Church. He will be remembered for his smile, singing and Bible Study. He enjoyed socializing, especially with family. He liked music and playing the guitar. He was an avid fisherman.

He was the brother of Herman Santos Jr. and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews as well as friends, especially Doug, Lenny and Mike. He was also the brother of the late Richard G. Santos.

Arrangements were with Familys Choice Cremation.

A Memorial Service for Lamont J. McGee (Pat) will be held at Saturday, September 9, 2017, 11:00 am with a repast fellow immediately following at Middletown Baptist Church, 1818 W. Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842. For further information call Cynthia Smothers (401)849-1809.
