Lawrence M. Krause Jr., 70, of Bristol, RI, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. A son of Antoinette (Zulkowski) Krause and the late Lawrence M. Krause Sr. and the beloved husband of Susanne (Stafford) Krause, Larry was born in Delaware and moved around a lot when he was young, since his father was in the Navy. He eventually settled in Bristol with his wife and children.

Larry worked as an accountant for many years, until his retirement. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and also loved to watch NASCAR, and was an especially big fan of the legend, Richard Petty. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed bowling, fishing, and reading. He enjoyed reading Peanuts comics and was a big Snoopy fan. He also loved fall activities like apple picking and watching vampire movies. Most of all, Larry enjoyed being with his family and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and bring them to the playground.

In addition to his mother, Antoinette, and his loving wife, Susanne, Larry is survived by his son, Nicholas Krause of North Providence, RI; his daughter, Crystal Krause of Warren, RI; his brother, Anthony Krause of Middletown, RI; his sisters, Donna Garcia and her husband Junior of Puerto Rico, Mary Belden and her husband Neal of Middletown, RI and Renee Fagan and her husband Bernie of Middletown, RI; and his grandchildren, Shelby and Christian. He was the father of the late Lawrence Krause III.

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI, where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 5-7PM.
