Obituary For Lenore "Lee" J. Moye

Lenore “Lee” J. Moye, 88, of Florida, passed away in Warren, Rhode Island on Thursday, January 15, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Captain Robert Moye and former wife of the late Roland “Raymond” Cabral.

Born and raised in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Cecilia (Pimental) Lopes. She was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School.

Lee truly loved Florida living where she resided for the past 40 years before returning to Rhode Island in June.

She enjoyed socializing with family and the many friends she made. Her passions included cooking, decorating, old country music, shopping and going out to eat, especially for a steak dinner. Lee volunteered at the animal shelter in South Florida and was always surrounded by kitties; she just couldn’t leave behind. She will mostly be remembered for her keen sense of humor in any situation.

Lee enjoyed travelling with her husband Bob in the Caribbean and making the long boat trip up the Coast to Rhode Island every summer to visit family.

In addition to her loving cat Dolly, Lee is survived by her children, Lori Barry and her husband Jay of Warren, Michael Cabral and his wife Michele of Maine, Robert Cabral and his wife Holly of Warren, and step-daughter Melissa Lynch of Florida, her grandchildren Craig, Cailyn, Courtney, Matthew, Raeann, Cai, Ryan, Vivienne and Celeste, as well as her great-grandchildren Aiden, Aria, Savannah, Navi and Mago. She was the beloved mother of the late Raymond Cabral and Charles Cabral.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI 02885 where the services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lee’s honor may be made to the Rhode Island SPCA, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886.
