Obituary For Leo P. Lescault

Leo P. Lescault, 93, of Warren, RI, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024 with his family by his side. A son of the late Oscar and Eva (Granger) Lescault and the beloved husband of the late Lily R. (Rainey) Lescault, Leo was a lifelong resident of Warren.

Leo proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War and later worked as an executive for A&P for many years. He was a devout Catholic and was very involved in St. Jean the Baptiste Church and, later, St. Mary of the Bay Parish. Leo was a family man and loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In his spare time, Leo enjoyed building model wooden sailboats.

Leo is survived by his sons, Paul Lescault of Bristol, RI, and Steven Lescault and his wife Debora of Hudson, NH; his daughter, Sandra Liberti and her husband Angelo of Bristol, RI; four grandchildren Christopher, Tara, Corey and Lauren, and eight great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Robert, Gerald and Donald Lescault.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 12PM at St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Vernon St. Warren, RI. A reception luncheon will be held following the funeral service at Brick Pizza Company, 500 Wood Street, Bristol from 1:00 to 4:00 where friends and family can gather to share memories and celebrate Leo’s life.
