Jarvais, Leo T., 79 of Sunnyside Street, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at home. Born in Warren a son of the late Benoit Sr., and Caroline (Carvalho) Jarvais. Beloved husband of Therese (Jalbert) Jarvais. He worked for 38 years for the former Converse Factory in Bristol. He also worked at Chase Farm. He was a Veteran of the Rhode Island National Guard, Battery C, 243rd. He was a member of the Portuguese American Club, and loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Besides his wife, he leaves six children, Leo T. Jarvais of Fall River, David Jarvais and Steven Jarvais, both of Warren, Joanne Bryden of Barrington, Catherine Impellizzeri and Debra Duarte both of Riverside. Grandfather of twelve and great grandfather of three. He leaves siblings Ronald Jarvais of Warren and Della Westazka of NV. He was a brother of the late Jack, Richard and Ernest Jarvais, Caroline Corliss, Irene Brimmer, Lorraine Soares, Gladys Couitt, and Claudia Cioe. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren where family will receive friends, Monday 4-7pm followed immediately by a funeral service for Mr. Jarvais.
