Obituary For Leonard Patterson

PATTERSON, Leonard Charles 55, of Warren, RI, died on Thursday, February 6th at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of Mrs. Jeanne T. Patterson and the late Charles E. Patterson. He was a mason for Santas Helper and Al Tavaress Masonry in Warren, RI and also worked at A New Leaf in Providence, RI.

Besides his mother, he leaves brothers, Alan C. Patterson (his wfe Jill) of Warren, RI, Thomas C. Patterson (his wfeSusan) of Swansea, MA, Timothy C. Patterson (his wfe Dawn) of Warren, RI and Charles J. Patterson (his wfe Jane) of Seekonk, MA, and sisters, Anne Marie Motta (her husband John) of Warren, RI, Rose Marie Sylvia (her husband James) of Niantic, CT, Kathleen Sarasin (her husband Tim) of Warren, RI, Janet S. Mello (her husband James) of Windham, ME, Theresa M. DeRiso (her husband Stephen) of Barrington, RI, Nancy George of Warwick, RI and Tina M. Avila (her husband Michael) of Bristol, RI. He was a kind uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, where family will receive friends on Monday, February 10th, 5-8pm, and Tuesday, February 11th, from the funeral home at 9am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Jean Baptiste Church, 324 Main Street, Warren, RI. Interment will be at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Warren.
