Leopoldina Vila Cha, 88, of Warren, RI, passed away, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at home.She was the wife of the late Manuel Joaquim Ribeiro.Born in Samaioes Chaves, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Palmira (Gomes) Vila Cha.Mrs. Vila Cha had worked at American Tourister for over 20 years, retiring in 1996. She was a Communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Warren, where she was active in the Holy Ghost Society and the Church Choir.She is survived by two sons, Armenio V. Ribeiro and his wife Mary Jo of Warren, RI, and Jose M. Ribeiro of Warren, RI, two daughters, Maria G. Cunha of Warren, RI, and Maria F. Hiotelis and her husband Peter of Raynham, MA, three sisters, Maria Perreira, Adozinda Alves and Margarida Lopes, all of Warren, RI, five grandchildren, Michelle, Nelson, David, Bruno and Nichalas, and two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Peyton.
