Liduina (Vieira) Medeiros, 93, of Bristol, RI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. A daughter of the late Carlos and Germana (Piexoto) Vieira and the beloved wife of the late Alfonso Carvalho and later, the late Germano Medeiros. Liduina was a longtime resident of Bristol and Warren.

Liduina worked as an assembly worker for many years in the manufacturing industry. Liduina was entirely devoted to her family and took great pride and joy in being a career parent having raised her children and grandchildren. In her leisure time, she enjoyed baking malasadas and Portuguese sweet bread for her friends and family as well as for Warren Pop Warner bake sales.

Liduina is survived by her sons, Joseph V. Carvalho and his wife Dina of Bristol, RI, Alfonso Carvalho and his wife Delia of Bristol, RI and James Medeiros of Parish, FL; her daughters, Mary C. Vazquez and her husband Lorenzo of Warren, RI, Mary Lou Worth and her husband Allan of Warren, RI and Liduina Gagnon and her husband Reginald of Johnston, RI; her ten grandchildren, Steven Carvalho, Susan Pedulla, Jason Carvalho, Jennifer Medina, Lorenzo Vazquez Jr., Ryan Vazquez, David Worth, Tina Parker, Timothy Silva, and Natalia Medeiros; her eleven great grandchildren, Jake DiSalvo, Nicholas DaSilva, Zachary Pedulla, Joseph Pedulla, Olivia Carvalho, Kayla Medina, Alex Medina, Noah Worth, Jonah Worth, Julie Vazquez, Cecilia Parker and Lorenzo Vazquez; and her great-great grandchild, Madison DaSilva. She was the sister of the late Carlos Piexoto, Maria Da Concaicao Couto and Norbina Arruda.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI 02885, where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 8-9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave. Warren, RI 02885. A Burial will follow at St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon St. Warren, RI 02885.
