Obituary For Lillian Testa

Lillian Ann Testa, 80, of Barrington, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Women & Infants Hospital of RI with her children by her side. She was the wife of the late Arthur C. Testa Sr. Lillian was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Enrico and Attila Tilly (DeCesare) DiDino.

Lillian was employed as a bookkeeper for Hanson's Men's Clothing in Barrington, a secretary for the Wharf Tavern in Warren and also Orchard View Manor in East Providence, retiring in 2012. She was a member of St Luke's Church. Lillian loved spending time with her family, laughing, playing cards, and watching game shows, especially The Price Is Right". She also loved reading, watching movies, gardening, music and dancing. She made the best stuffed artichokes ever! She was a member of MADD and contributor to St. Jude's Children Hospital.

She was the loving mother of Marisa Ellin of Bristol and Arthur Testa Jr. and his wife Linda Testa of Barrington. She was the sister of Dorothy Anderson of Warwick and Enrico "Harry" DiDino and his wife Patricia of Smithfield. She was the beloved grandmother of Daniel Thielman and his wife Rayleen of Tiburon, CA, Tiffany Thielman , Kayla, Jamie and Haley Testa all of Barrington.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI where the family will receive friends Tuesday June 25th, 4-7pm. Funeral Wednesday, 9am from the funeral home, 10am for a Mass of Christian Burial in St Luke's Church, Barrington. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

    Marisa and Arthur, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a wonderful woman. I remember the card games with my parents and all the fun they had. May all those wonderful memories you have of her help you through this difficult time. Sending prayers your way.
