Lorraine A. (Amaral) Cabral, 92, of Warren, RI passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. A daughter of the late Francisco and Altina (Leite) Amaral and beloved wife of the late Alfred “Fred” Cabral Jr. for 71 years.

A lifelong resident of Warren, she was 1 of 13.

Lorraine was a driven secretary and bookkeeper for Prudential Insurance and W.T. Grants for many years. Her filing, organization, mathematics and attention to detail were like no other.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, tending to her assortment of flowers, and spending time with her family. Later she found a passion and talent for painting. Lorraine loved to travel with her husband, especially to Europe and take bus tours. A communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Lorraine was an active member of both the Barrington and Warren Senior Centers.

Lorraine is survived by her son, Alfred J. Cabral and his wife Marilyn of Warren, RI, her daughters Lori A. Noyes and her husband Kevin of Tiverton, RI and Sharon M. Levesque and her husband Al of Swansea, MA; she was the sister of the late Mary Santos, Virginia Trombley, Adeline Ferreira, Bella Cabral, Manuel, Joseph, Louis, Dennis, Arthur, Frank, Albert and Manuel Amaral; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Services are with the Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren RI, where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 9AM followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave. Warren RI. A Burial will be held at St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Vernon St. Warren, RI.
