Obituary For Louis B. Abilheira

Abilheira, Louis B., of Chestnut St., died Wednesday, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Gregory) Abilheira and devoted father of L. Gregory Abilheira of Bristol, Becki Abilheria-Cargill and her husband Brian of Cumberland and a stepson John B. Brogan and his wife Crystal of East Providence. He was the brother of Elias, Manuel, Anthony, Richard, and Diolinda Abilheira and Theresa Blank. He leaves nine grandchildren, Brendon, Brett, Brianna, Braelee and Brennah Abilheira-Cargill; Rebecca Helger, Makenzie, Jordyn and Kiley Brogan. He was a practicing attorney for 35 years. Louis was a Boston College Alum and avid fan of Boston College athletics. Arrangements are with SMITH Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren where family will receive friends Sunday 4-7pm. Funeral Monday 8am at the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in St Elizabeths Church.     Lou, we will miss you terribly. You've been a great friend over these many years. My deepest sympathy to Lou's family; especially Susan, Becky, Greg and Dee. He was a big man with a bigger spirit.

    Susan, Becki, Gregory & Family, Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your husband and father. I was unable to attend the services for Louis but in my heart I want you to know I am so very saddened for his loss. He was always so pleasant to me and I will never forget that.
