Obituary For Lucy Martin
Martin, Lucy, 94 of Market St., died Wednesday at Charlton Memorial. Born in Bristol a daughter of the late Joseph Marshall and Mary (Garcia) Alexander. She was the widow of Tobias Martin. She worked in the factories of several area manufacturers including Avid Corporation and Collins & Aikman. Beloved mother of Sharon Francis of Bristol, Tobias Martin and his wife Madeline of Cranston and the late Lucille Mello. Sister of Louis and Raymond Alexander, Louise Greenhalgh, Florence Foster and the late Frank Perna and Rose Salcone. She was grandmother of Brian Francis, Tina Sylvia, Lori-Ann Esposito, Scott Martin, Dawn Rubino and the late John Mello. Great grandmother of ten. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren where family will receive friends Sunday 4-8pm. Funeral Monday 10am from the funeral home, 11am in St Dominics Church, 1277 GAR Hwy, Swansea. Burial will be in South Burial Ground, Warren. In lieu of flowers, donations to Office of Philanthrophy, Charlton Memorial Hospital, Telemetry Unit, 363 Highland Ave, Fall River, MA 02720. www.celebratewithsmith.com
