Obituary For Lynn Ann Wojtyto

Barrington Lynn A.( Piekarski) Wojtyto, 62 of Barrington, died Monday, November 19, 2018 at Hope Hospice in Providence, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of James J. Wojtyto. She was born in Providence a daughter of Edwina (Milka) Piekarski, of North Providence and the late Walter Piekarski.

Lynn was a Registered Nurse, at the James L. Maher Center.

She has been a Barrington resident for over 40 years coming from North Providence.

She was a parishioner of St. Alexander Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister.

Mrs. Wojtyto, was a swimmer and life member of the Bayside YMCA in Barrington.

Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her brother Paul Piekarski and his wife Susan of Foster,RI , her niece Lauren Piekarski ,nephew Stephen Piekarski. Also her cousins Susan and Tony Terry of Barrington.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 8:30 am from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Alexander Church, 221 Main Street, Warren. Burial will follow in St. Alexander Cemetery, Greenlawn Avenue, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held SATURDAY MORNING from 8:30am-9:30am.

Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Rhode Island Food Bank, 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence, RI, 02907.

You made a great team, and although I haven't seen you in a very long time, you and Lynn are among my best memories from that time. I am so sorry I can't be there, but I am thinking of you.     Lynn was a wonderful and thoughtful person, friend and neighbor and we will miss her tremendously. We know she is now at peace and no longer suffering. Our love is with you Jimmy.

    Dear Jim, Lynn was awesome to work with. When I was a C.N.A. at Nursing Placement I work with Lynn, she showed me how to do more for clients to make them happier. I will always be thankful for that. I will miss her. She is at peace now. My prayers are with you and family.
