Obituary For Mabel Rodrigues
Mabel A. Rodrigues, age 90, of Warren, died Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Grace Barker Nursing Home in Warren.
Loving wife of William C. Rodrigues of Warren. She was a lifelong resident of Warren.
She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Maria (De Mello) Rose.
Mabel worked as an office manager for many years for the Veterans Administration retiring in 1987. Many years ago she also worked for the former American Motors Dealership on Metacom Avenue, Warren.
She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and the Ladies Holy Rosary Sodality.
Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Maria T Levesques, and her husband Robert of Warren, M. Martha Machado and her husband Steve of Warren and M. Jessica Mulvena and her husband Jack of Florida. Two sons William C. Rodrigues and his wife Roseann of Bristol and David A Rodrigues and his wife Laurie of ME. Sister of Emily O'Brien of Warren. She has 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Jesse, John and Louis and Mary Texeira.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren where family will receive friends on Monday January 20, 2014 from 4-7pm, Funeral will be Tuesday at 9am in the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St Thomas the Apostle Church, Metacom Avenue, Warren.
Interment will be at St Jean-Baptiste Cemetery, Warren. Flowers are welcome.
