Manuel C. Cardoza, 87, Ridgeway Drive, Warren, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Grace Barker Nursing Home, Warren.

He was the husband of Marie (Soprano) Cardoza and the late Gladys (Cabral) Cardoza. Born in Bristol, RI, a son of the late Joseph and Maria (Santo Christo Silvia) Cardoza, he had been a resident of Warren most of life.

He was a heavy equipment operator for many years for the Cardi Corp.

He was a communicant of St Mary of the Bay Church, Warren. Mr Cardoza was a WWII veteran.

Besides his wife Marie (Soprano) Cardoza , he leaves two sons, George Cardoza of Portsmouth, and David S Cardoza of Warren; a daughter, Linda Blanchard of East Providence. He leaves six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was also the brother of the late Harry, Jesse, Joseph and Margaret Cardoza, Mary Freitas, and Sophie Varao.

Burial will be in St Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Warren.
