MARARET E. ( FLUEGEL) FAFARA, 93 formerly of Warren, died Saturday at the Waterview Villa Nursing Home, East Providence . She was the wife of the late Edwin Fafara. She was born in St. Louis MO. , a daughter of the late Emil and Margaret ( Ferhring) Fluegel. She has lived in Warren for over 54 year coming from New York and Barrington.

She had been a resident of East Bay Manor for 5 years, prior to going to Waterview.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by a daughter Cynthia Rebello and her husband Anthony of Seekonk.

She was the grandmother of Greg Rebello, Katie Geoffrey, Scott Geoffrey, and the great grandmother of 4.

She was the mother of the late Janet Dockham , and also the sister of the late Gertrude Sims.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday Oct. 28, 2014 at 10:00am in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 9-10:00am.

Burial will be private.
