Obituary For Mary Frances Bush

Mary Frances (Brown) Bush of Bristol, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012. She was born in Statesboro, GA. She was the daughter of Joseph C. and Frances Eugenia (Brannen) Brown. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert S. Bush, daughters Barbara Susan Bush of Verbank, NY and Kathleen Marabello and husband Ronald of Warren, RI and two grandchildren, Laura Jayne Marabello of Port St Lucie, Fl and Ronald P. Marabello of Coventry, RI. She is also survived by a niece and several grandnieces and grandnephews in Georgia.

Mary was the sister of the late Joseph C Brown Jr. of Savannah , Georgia, Emory Brown of Pine bluff, Ak, Dock A. Brown of East Wenechee, WA and Jean B. Creek of Statesboro, GA.

She attended public schools in Georgia and graduated from Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, GA. Mary worked for Snelson Seed Company in Savannah, GA and retired with 40 years of service from Carr-Fulflex in Bristol RI.

She was a member of St. Michaels Church in Bristol, RI for over 60 years.

Mary was an active member of the Rhode Island Post Card Club. She was also a long time member of the Rathkemp Matchcover Society and several other Matchcover clubs and traveled to their conventions in the US and Canada.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where the family will receive friends Thursday, November 1st from 4-7PM. Services Friday, November 2nd at 9AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Service in St Michael's Church, Hope St., Bristol at 10am. Interment will be at the North Burial Ground.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen at 378 Hope Street, Bristol, RI 02809 or the Bristol Rescue Squad at 4 Annawamscott Drive, Bristol, RI 02809

    Kathy, Ronnie, Laura,Ronnie JR & Mr. Bush. Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. It is truly painful when you loss a parent, as I have experienced. I remember your mom's huge stuffed quahogs and all the beautiful and delcious cookies and pastries she made. They were all so perfect. There are a lot of memories. The picture posted is exactly how I remember her. Our thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time
