Maurice R. Bouffard, 86, of Warren, RI, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. A son of the late Isaac and Diana R. (Theroux) Bouffard and the loving husband of the late Jennie (Sousa) Bouffard, Maurice was a lifelong resident of Warren and devout member of St. Mary of the Bay Parish.

After High School, Maurice proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. After, he went on to become a welder and worked for General Dynamics for many years before moving over to Blount Marine where he remained until his retirement. He was a longtime member of the P.A.C. in Warren and the Warren VFW. In his spare time, Maurice loved to travel, cook, frequent the local restaurants, and watch his favorite baseball team, the Red Sox. Maurice was a master conversationalist and could talk to anyone about anything for hours. He was a lifelong member of Healthtrax to socialize and go swimming every morning. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.

Maurice is survived by his daughters, Michelle Nadeau and her husband Jean Paul of Westport, MA and Denise Bouffard of Warren, RI; his grandchildren, Andrew Nadeau, Alison Nadeau, Nathan Bouffard and Mehya Bouffard; and his sister, Jeanne Munro of Somerset, MA. He was the father of the late David Bouffard and the brother of the late Raymond Bouffard, Lionel Bouffard, Gerald Bouffard, Irene Bouffard, Yvette Valaro and Pauline Skuba.

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 4-7PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 9AM followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main St. Warren, RI. Burial will be at St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Greenlawn St. Warren, RI.
