Michael Smalley Anthony Primiano, 91, of Warren, died Friday, September 1, 2017 at the RI Veterans Home, Bristol. Born in Warren a son of the late Peter D. and Mary (Saviano) Primiano. After high school, where he excelled in several sports, he joined the army. He played semi-pro football for a few years before moving to California where he worked as a bartender for most of his life. A WWII Veteran of the Army, Mr. Primiano was a communicant of St Alexander Church, Warren.

He leaves a sister, Elvira L., Tesarek of Warren. He was the brother of the late Joseph, David and Peter Primiano and Mary Merolla. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren where family will receive friends, Friday, September 15th, 10-11:00am. The Funeral service will begin at 11 in the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow in St Alexander Cemetery, Warren.
