Obituary For Michael Stanzione

Michael Stanzione, 62, of Warren, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 24, 2024. A son of Sabato and Aldea (Parent) Stanzione and the step-son of Lorraine Stanzione, Michael was a longtime resident of Warren.

Michael worked as a mechanic for many years and developed a vast skillset that allowed him to work on many different projects. He was known as a great guy with a big heart who would always help anyone in need. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed fishing, hanging out with his friends, going to Vermont and he loved his dog, Boo.

In addition to his loving parents, Sabato and Aldea and his step-mother Lorraine, Michael is survived by his son, Rosco Stanzione of Warren, RI; his daughters, Rebecca Colvin and her husband Ricky of Newport, FL, and Jessica Pires and her husband Paul Wyandt of Largo, FL; his brother, John Stanzione and his wife Selina of Bristol, RI; his sister, Susan Stanzione of Warren, RI; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Michael Stanzione and the brother of the late Christopher Stanzione and Sabato Stanzione.

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI, where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 8-10AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, 141 State St. Bristol, RI. A Burial will follow at North Burial Ground, 1081 Hope St. Bristol, RI.
