Obituary For Nancy Pauline Monte-Galipo

Monte-Galipo, Nancy, 60 of Millbury, MA and Lakeland, FL, died Friday at St Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA. Born in Fall River a daughter of Norma (Fitting) Thivierge of Warren and the late Leo Paul Thivierge. She was the wife of Russell Galipo and the late Richard J. Monte. She was a secretary for Tucker Wright Law Associates and the GOP Committee of RI. She was an avid Red Sox Fan. Besides her mother and husband she leaves a step daughter Vicki Monti of Worcester, brothers, Paul Thivierge of South Portland, ME and Peter Thivierge of North Conway, NH; sisters, Susan Blais of Litchfield, ME and Melissa Machado of Warren. She leaves several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren where family will receive friends Tuesday January 3rd, 4-8pm. A prayer service will be at 4:30. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Susan G.Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services,PO Box 650309 Dallas, TX 75265.     Ma T, Paul, Susan, Peter, Missy and family, No words can describe the feeling of loss. Nancie was a wonderful person, loyal friend, supportive sister, caring daughter and wife. Her loss is greatly felt. We all have so many memorable stories to tell regarding our relationship with her. I was fortunate enough to meet her when we were in 5th grade, 10 years old. We supported each other during difficult times and enjoyed many wonderful times together. Although sadly she is no longer with us, we are fortunate to have known her. We are better people because of her. May our many memories of her live on in our hearts. We will always remember the love we shared. Love, Peggie and Tom
