Obituary For Norman A Lambert

Swansea - - Norman A. Lambert 95, of Swansea MA, died Thursday at Silver Creek Nursing Home.

He was the husband of Florence (Miranda) Lambert.

Norman was born in Warren a son of the late Arthur and Laura (Belanger) Lambert.

Mr. Lambert was a Foreman and Machinist in the Research and Development department for G.W. Dahl for many years.

He was a U S Army Veteran serving as a corporal during WWII.

Mr. Lambert has been a Swansea resident for over 32 years, coming from Warren, and was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

He was also a member of the Bristol Elks, a VFW Life Member , the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and also the Warren Rod and Gun Club.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children Robert E. Lambert of Eureka California, and Roberta A. Duquette and her husband Henry C. Duquette of Somerset.

He was the grandfather of Jennie Gagliardi, and Ryan Duquette

and also the great grandfather of Brad, Kyle, Alex, Lexi and Ben.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Roger Lambert, Charles Lambert, Louis Lambert, Alice Marcello, Beatrice Pimental, Rene Conti.

His funeral will be held Saturday January 7 2017 at 9:00am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1130am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Avenue, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours SATURDAY MORNING from 9:00-11:00am

Burial will be at a later date.

Gifts in his memory may be sent to the Swansea Ambulance Corps, 285 Wilbur Ave, Swansea, MA 02777, or to Silver Creek Manor Activities Department, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol, RI, 02809

    I'd like to say it was a pleasure having Norm living next to me for the last 38 years. He was a wealth of knowledge and a kind man. Always fixing up his property and I trying to keep up, it never happened, could not measure up to his work, sorry Norm. I am especially sorry for the poor landscaping, I tried to replant y grass 3 times in the last 38 years, your grass always looked like it belonged on a golf course !

    Words can not describe how honored I am to have been able to get to know Norman, he will always hold a special place in my heart. Seeing his smile always made my day. My prayers for strength and healing go out to the Lambert family at this sad time. Nancy L. AD Silver Creek Manor
