Odete C. (Soares) Medeiros, 63 of Warren, died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at home.

She was the wife of the late John Medeiros.

Odete was born in Faial, Azores, Portugal a daughter of the late Joao and Maria ( George) Soares. Mrs. Medeiros was a homemaker. She has lived in Warren since 1999 coming from Bristol.

She was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

Odete was an animal lover, she enjoyed going on car rides, loved nature, and watching movies, and TV, and enjoyed listening to music.

She is survived by a daughter Christine Medeiros of Lauderhill Florida, a brother Hildeberto Soares of Rehoboth Ma., her sisters Maria Soares of Warren, Izilda Machado of Bristol, and Etalvina Mauck of East Providence.

She was the sister of the late Odete Soares, and the mother of the late Phillip Soares.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday Nov. 7, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Avenue Warren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, calling hours and flowers are omitted.
