Warren Paul A. Miranda, 78, of Warren died Wednesday November 20 2019 at the Hope Hospice, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Maria DoCarmo DeMello (Soares) Miranda.

He was born in San Jose, Ponta Del Gada, Azores, Portugal, a son of the late Antonio Carvalho Miranda and Alchadrina(Pacheco) Miranda.

He was a Print Shop worker for the Taylor Box Company for over 43 years.

Mr. Miranda, has lived in Warren for over 45 years coming from Portugal.

He was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

Mr. Miranda enjoyed gardening, taking nature walks, watching Portuguese Soccer games, and listening to the Portuguese news channels and spending time with his familys dogs.

Beside his wife he is survived by 2 sons Nelson Miranda of Cranston, RI, Michael Miranda of Warren, RI, and 3 sisters Rosa, Gilda, Cremilde all in Portugal.

His funeral will be held Monday November 25, 2019 at 9:00 am from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Avenue, Warren.

Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon Street, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours are Sunday from 2- 5 pm.
