Paul E. Poirier, 78, of Barrington, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at Rhode Island Hospital. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Wickey) Poirier.

Mr. Poirier worked for Bartlett Tree Service for many years, having served as Vice President for 30 years. He was semi retired, and still acting as a consultant to them. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Barrington.

Loving father of Thomas Poirier, Catherine Van Lincker and Ann Alden. He was the brother of Jeanette Blaisdell. Devoted grandfather of four.

Arrangements with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 School House Road, Warren, where the family will receive friends from 9am to 12pm Saturday, December 22, 2007. Funeral services will be private.
