Obituary For Phyllis L. Shaw
Phyllis (Borzillo) Shaw, 65, Seekonk, lost her courageous battle with cancer on April 13, 2012. Born in Bryn Maur, PA, a daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Borzillo. Before moving to Seekonk, she lived in both Warren and Bristol. Beloved wife of George Shaw, Phyllis wore many hats. She could be seen helping with the daily operations of Shaw's Engineering Co. Other times, she could be seen riding the lawn tractor and tending to her flowers Let's not forget riding on the back of George's motorcycle. She was also a former board member of RIMA. Last, but not least, she loved her German shepherds.She is survived by her son Scott Hayes of Providence, her sister Cynthia Bass and brothers Raymond and John Borzillo. Arrangements were handled by Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where the family received friends.A Mass of Christian Burial followed at St Thomas the Apostle Church, Warren.Burial was private.
