Obituary For Rene Joseph Tremblay

Warren -- Rene J. Tremblay, 75 of Warren , died Wednesday May 31 2017 at the Warren Skilled Nursing Center.

He was the husband of Caroline (Gibree) Tremblay, they were married for over 31 years.

Rene was born in Fall River a son of the late Camille and Rita (Dumont ) Tremblay.

Mr. Tremblay was a Manufacturing Project Manager, for Raytheon for over 39 years, before retiring.

Rene , was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a Staff Sergeant.

He was a Warren resident for over 31 years, and a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Mr. Tremblay enjoyed country dancing, playing racquetball, and baseball. He also enjoyed travelling, and was a School bus driver for over 10 years at Laidlaw and First Student .

Besides his wife he is survived by a son Mark Tremblay of Denver, CO., his daughters Susan Buschman of Ft. Wayne Indiana, Janet Neal of Albuquerque , N.M., his step children Cheryl Bennett of Fall River, Henry Cembrola of Utah, and Gregory Cembrola of Warren.

He is also survived by a brother Robert Tremblay and his wife Claire of Westport, a sister in law Diane Tremblay of Swansea, and his loving dog Dustin

Rene was the grandfather of 14, and the great grandfather of 10. He was the brother of the late Gerard Tremblay and also the late Roland Tremblay.

His funeral service will be held Saturday June 3, 2017 at 11:30am in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren , RI, burial with Military honors will be held in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30am.

In lieu of flowers gifts in his memory may be sent to the Warren Fire Department Rescue Squad, , 1 Joyce Street, Warren, RI 02885.

Heaven has gained Angel, I worked with Rene at Laidlaw/First Student he was such the nicest person. He was always smiling and joking around . My thoughts and prayers go out to Rene's family . RIP Rene.thank you for always making me laugh

Dear Rene and family, This candle represents the everlasting light placed above you all, and that my Prayers and Condolences are in my humbled heart. I regret that I am unable to attend the services. But trust that my soul is present . Rene is now in Heaven with his Brother Jerry, and his Parents (my God Parents). I feel a sweet serenity that Rene is no longer suffering. He is loved and missed greatly. Lord, I Pray that you keep Rene and his family close to your heart as well. Amen
