Obituary For Richard A. Lombardo

Richard A. Lombardo, 79, of Warren, RI, passed away, Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Hope Hospice, Providence, RI.

He was the husband of Frances (Unsworth) Lombardo.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Angelo R. and Patricia (Proulx) Lombardo.

Mr. Lombardo had worked as a printer at Ardon Printing for 40 years, retiring in 2007. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a member of the Providence Revolver and Pistol Club.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother, Frank Lombardo and his wife Patricia of Warren, RI, two sisters, Helen David and her late husband Louis of Granby, CT, and Patricia Tabella and her husband Dennis of Warwick, RI, sister-in-law Cheryl Unsworth of North Providence, two grandchildren, Lena and Gabriella Gatta of North Smithfield, RI, and his beloved companion Tobey.

He was the father of the late Richard T. Lombardo and Linda Gatta and the brother of the late Angela Lombardo.

Calling hours are omitted.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 10AM in Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren.

Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon St., Warren, RI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, RI Chapter, PO Box 41659, Providence, RI, 02940, or to the American Heart Association, 1 State St., Unit 200, Providence, RI, 02908.
