Obituary For Robert H Stark

Barrington Robert H. Stark, 80 , of Barrington, died Friday January 5, 2018 at Hope Hospice in Providence.

Mr. Stark was the husband of the late Kathleen Arnold (Oakes) Stark.

Robert, was born in Providence a son of Rosseter and Mabel Stark.

He was a Tool maker for EMC, for many years and was also a cook on the Providence tug boats.

Mr. Stark was a cook while in the US Army.

Robert was a lifelong Barrington resident , he loved to sail, fish, hunt and cook.

He enjoyed spending time in his cabin in Maine, and was a handy man and was called Mr. Fix It.

Mr. Stark is survived by his daughters Pamela Nestell of Barrington, Susan Martines of North Kingstown. He was the brother of Ronald Stark.

Mr. Stark was the grandfather of Abigail, Corey, Nathan, Brandon, Isaac, Paige, Shileigh, Zachary, Josephine, and Logan, and also the great grandfather of Jaxon.

Robert was the father of the late Carolyn Stark.

Cremation services, by the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, Warren.

    My sincere condolences to Stark family and friends. God loves and cares for us very much, that is why he inspired words of comfort and hope for those who have lost loved ones in death. These words can be found in the Holy Scriptures. Psalm 34:18 reads: "Jehovah (The Lord-King James Bible) is close to the broken-hearted, he saves those who are crushed in spirit". John 5:28 also reads: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the "memorial tombs" will hear his voice and come out". The beautiful hope of a resurrection and knowing that we can see our loved ones alive in the near future, can give us hope and peace of mind.
