Obituary For Robert Lawrence Pattie
Warren - Robert L. Pattie, 69, of Warren, died Sunday January 26,2020 at Orchard View Manor in East Providence.
He was the husband of Shirley (Cote) Pattie, they were married for over 50 years.
He was born in Providence a son of the late Joseph G. and Leona (Beaulieu) Pattie.
Robert was a Furniture Stripper and Sandblaster for many years, before retiring.
He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, as Specialist 4th class.
A Warren resident all of his life, he was a parishioner of the former St. Jean the Baptiste Church. He liked hunting for deer and wild game with a bow and arrow, and he also spent time fishing.
Besides his wife he is survived by his son Robert L. Pattie Jr. and his wife Joyce of Fall River, MA., his daughter Melissa Lambert and her husband William ( Billy) Lambert of Ft. Myers, Florida.
He was the brother of Richard Pattie of Warren and Paul Pattie of Middletown.
Robert was the grandfather of Megan Lambert.
He was the brother of the late Norman Pattie and Philip Pattie.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 9:45 am in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
Burial will follow at 11:00 am, in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI, 02822.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm.

Robert was a man that always had a smile, when I married his brother Norman ,I nicknamed him â??laughing Jackâ??. He had such a sweet spirit and will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace, see you soon.
