Robert Higgins, 47 of Warren, died unexpectedly Friday in a construction accident in Boston. He was a son of Robert Higgins and Joyce and Gerald Biancuzzo. He was a laborer for Atlantic Drain Service.

Giving a helping hand to his neighbors on Barden Lane, he was always there with a smile, kind words, and the best hugs. He helped local kids at the Kids Federation with wrestling. He also liked to lift weights. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July helping his Dad manning the clamboil. Robby adored his sister Jennifer and was her Big Brother Protector from the day she was born. He will now be her guardian angel.
Besides his parents he is survived by his beloved sister, Jennifer Lewis and her husband David, their children Adeline and Reid all of Norfolk, Va; an Aunt Debra Aguiar of Bristol; Aunt and Uncle Marilyn and Martin Hewitt and their children Ashley and Maggie of Bristol; his godparents Sandra and Rocco Pardi of Attleboro; Great Aunts and uncles, Edmond and Alba Santos and Vernon and Francis Duscharme; many cousins, including Marianne Newell and Tara Charette. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Hold tight to those memories....Lean on each other for support....And trust in God for the strength needed to endure. Psalm 46:1 tells us: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress."

Mr. and Mrs. B and Jennifer. My sympathy goes out to all of you. Bobby was a special person. I sit back and think about all the things we did as kids and just laugh. He was tough, funny, family oriented and most importantly loyal. I wouldn't see him for a few years and he would pop up out of the blue and the first thing he would ask was always about my parents, kids and how I was doing . I saw him a month ago and I ended up just laughing with him, but not before he reminded me about family. Once a friend always a friend. It didn't matter to him. He was Bobby. He will be missed by all that had the opportunity to know him.

A big brother to me and a guardian and friend to my father. Words cannot describe how sad I am to know that we won't be seeing each other again. Your heart was as big as your spirit and you are going to be sorely missed. We (the pup too) love you like our own. Give Mama T a big hug and kiss for me. Love you buddy. RIP #20

My prayers go out to the family and loved ones. Bobby was a big part of many lives to include mine and he will be sorely missed. It seems like just yesterday that we were winning the Suburban South in wrestling with Bobby anchoring the team. I am sure that he is now anchoring the team up in heaven still watching over his family and friends as he has done his entire life. One of the most selfless guys I ever knew.

Rob was a great person with a truly kind soul. No matter how long it had been since we had seen each other it was always easy to pick right back up where we left off. He will forever hold a special place in both mine and my sons heart. He always made a point to stop by around Christmas time with a big smile on his face and nerf guns hidden behind his back for my son. Robbieeeeee! Anthony would yell and run to give him a huge bear hug. Ever since my son was a baby he had a special connection with Rob that was wonderful to see. My thoughts and prayers are with you - I am so sorry for your loss.

First cousins are first friends .We are. We grew up together in a wondeful way and I have always loved my Robby. To the last moment, there wasnt a time or place that i wouldn't randomly see you and we wouldnt hug and kiss and talk and talk. You loved my son at first sight and always made it a point to watch him wrestle running between mats to see him and praise him and always ask about Trevor. You with your contageous smile, open, loving heart have ALWAYS been there for me all my life. You will always be in my heart in a very special place. I love you dearly.
