Dear Pray Family, I am Dorothy Sullivan and my husband Jack and I lived next door to you on Silva Avenue. Roger Sr. and my husband were both in the Navy and shared many stories. Our children Jackie and Sherry were younger than your boys but played together on many occasions. I can still hear Dot standing on the porch calling out for the boys to come in for dinner, "Roger, Billy, Bobby, Michael, Timmy". Dot was a wonderful friend and she was there the morning Sherry was born, December 12, 1962. We were blessed to have you for neighbors and our sincere condolences to all the family. Dorothy and Jack Sullivan Knightdale, NC

hey dad. Glad you are at rest. The last few days I have felt you with me while I've been going through your things. You've made me laugh and cry. I'm carrying your wallet and cellphone and keys in a ziplock galllon bag as only you would appreciate. HaHa. To which I have been calling Dad.... Come on dad, time to go. Hey dad....hurry up. We have a lot to do. All with a smile and giggle. I'm truly enjoying hearing the stories told by your friends and just how many peeps that were so fond of you. This has made this journey a little bit lighter and I appreciate the lighter parts. Please keep making me giggle! I'm going to continue remembering the good times as they continue to live on in my heart, mind as I'm reminded of the things you have taught me. Until we meet again dad, know how much I have always loved you! Ride the waves in the sky and fish with your buddies. See you on the other side ol PC! To others, please share a memory. I look forward to reading them all. Holly

From the Division, please accept our deepest condolences. Roger taught many children how to fish over many years as a volunteer for the fishing programs. He was a generous and kind man and was very encouraging to me personally over the years. We shall miss him.
