Obituary For Rose Carter

Rose Alma Carter, 95, of Warren, died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at St Elizabeth Manor in Bristol.

Born in Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Villandre) Lavallee.

She was employed by the former Bates Mill as a Weaver and she was a presser for many dry cleaners around the state. She was a communicant of St Jean Baptiste Church. She was an avid whist player at Kickemuit Villiage up until three weeks ago. She was dedicated to her family.

Loving mother of Russell L. Carter of Bristol, Roger J. Carter of Warren and Richard F. Carter of Stuart, Fla. Sister of Alexandrina Picard of Warren and Leonard Lavallee of Coventry. Rose leaves 11 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 20. She was predeceased by Hector, Camille, and George Lavallee, Georgianna Martineau, Flora Sanchas, Agnes Conca, Bertha Gladding and Doralice Tanner.

Burial will be held in St Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Warren.
