Obituary For Rose L. Ramos

Bristol -- Rose L. ( Madeiro) Ramos, 87, of Bristol died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was the wife of the late Henry Ramos.

Rose was born in Bristol a daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella (Arone) Madeiro.

She was a waitress for many years at Hope Creamery, Howard Johnson's and Bickfords, before retiring.

Mrs.Ramos has lived all of her life in Bristol, and was a member of the Radiant Christian Church of Warren, where she was active in the Frontline Ministry for Freedom ,the Right Hand Ministry and the Manna Ministry. She also enjoyed Crocheting.

Mrs. Ramos is Survived by daughters Rebecca Madeiro and David Hanos of Bristol, Gail and Mark DeVine of Bristol.

Rose was the grandmother of Joshua Gabriel DeVine and his wife Elizabeth, and the great grandmother of Zachary Gabriel DeVine.

She was the sister of the late John Madeiro , Joseph Madeiro Jr., Roy Madeiro and Mary Benevides.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 am from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICE, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the Radiant Christian Church, 895 Main Street, Warren, RI.

Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours THURSDAY MORNING from 9:30 -10:30 am.

    My deepest sympathy goes out to Rose family..She was a wonderful women to all she new...Rose you were like a mom to me an I will never forget you..Your daughter Gail will always be my bestest friend..You were so bless to have such a great family...I will miss our visits, laughs, an just being there spending time with you...Rose RIP, you may be be gone but never never forgotten. ..Rest in Peace love you always, an will miss you...Love Gail Manny...I will also never forget that beautiful smile you always had even when you were not feeling well....xxxooo

    Gail and Becky, we are so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. Our deepest condolences to your family during this difficult time. Her smile was like a beacon of light and will live on in my memories, along with all of the great times we had. I cannot forget the times we had at 4th of July, The Redic Court Kazoo Band, and The Rehoboth Fair. Its not a time to be sad but to celebrate the great life that she experienced. Great, Great memories of both of your parents. Thank you for allowing us to share

    I am so sorry for your loss. Death of a loved one is one of the hardest things we cope with in life. I like to share a couple of scriptures that have help me. Psalm 36:7, â??How precious your loyal love is, O God. In the shadow of your wings. The son of men take refuse.â?? Revelation 21:4, God will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Act 24:15, â??There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous. â?? Rose will be able to live again under much better condition. May God comfort the family.
