Obituary For Rose Watkinson

Rose (Perry) Watkinson, 86 of Bristol, died Wednesday April 8 2015 at Silver Creek Manor.

She was the wife of the late John Watkinson Jr.

She was born in Bristol a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Souza) Perry.

Rose was a Rubber worker for over 10 years for the Smiths Rubber Company. Mrs. Watkinson was a lifelong Bristol resident, she was a member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church of Fall River, and a member of the Bristol Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons Kenneth Watkinson and his wife Mary of Bristol, Glen Watkinson and his wife Kathleen of Bristol, and a brother John Perry of Fresno California. She was the grandmother of 7 and the great grandmother of 14, also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Perry, late Manuel Perry who died in France during WWII, late Angelo Perry, late Anthony Perry, late Frank D.D. Perry, late Elizabeth Perry and late Georgiana Mello.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00pm in the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 1-3pm. Burial will be at a later date in North Burial Ground Bristol.
