Sarah Connie (Machado) Gomes, 86, of Central Ave, died yesterday, at Grace Barker Nursing Center. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Perry) Machado. For 52 years she was married to Joseph Gomes.

She worked for many years at the former Well Made Dress. A communicant of St Thomas the Apostle Church where she loved to volunteer.

She was the sister of the late Amorine and Joseph Machado and Mary Pakowski.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd, Warren, where family will receive friends 5-7pm Monday. Funeral Tuesday from the funeral home at 9am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St Thomas the Apostle Church, Metacom Ave., Warren. Burial in St Mary of the Bay Cemetery. wjsmithfh.com
