Obituary For Shirley A. Caisse
Shirley A. ( Camara) Caisse, 72 of Warren, died Wednesday at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was the wife of George L. Caisse Sr. They were married for over 54 years.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Joseph and Christina (Pacheco) Camara
Shirley was a banker for over 30 years , with the former Old Stone Bank, and also Citizens Bank .
Mrs. Caisse has been a Warren resident for over 54 years coming from Fall River, she was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She enjoyed making ceramics, and was an avid reader.
Mrs. Caisse loved spending time with her family which she adored.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her two sons George L. Caisse Jr. of Bristol, Michael Caisse of St. Petersburg Florida, a step daughter Debbie Silvia of Westport MA., two brothers Richard Camara, and Kenneth Camara both of Somerset, MA.,two sisters June McDermott of Las Vegas Nevada, and Christine Bancroft of Warren.
She was the grandmother of Jett Caisse , also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Joey Caisse.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services , 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI , followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main St. Warren, burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4- 7pm.
