Obituary For Stella Paolantonio
Stella (Sylvia) Paolantonio, 96, of Warren, RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. A daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Medeiros) Sylvia and the beloved wife of the late Alfonso Paolantonio, Stella was a longtime resident of Warren, RI and Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Stella was quite active in the community and was a member of the Metacomet Country Club, the Elk’s Club in Jupiter, FL, and the PGA National Palm Beach Gardens, FL. In her leisure time, Stella enjoyed playing golf and dancing. Most of all, Stella loved the company of her family and friends.
Stella is survived by her granddaughter, Melissa Siembab and her husband Sean of Warren, RI; her daughter, Donna Znamirowski of Bristol, RI; her brothers, James Sylvia of Fall River, MA and Anthony Sylvia of Baltimore, MD; and two great grandchildren, Jaden Siembab and Gavin Siembab. She was the mother in law of the late Thaddeus Znamirowski; the sister of the late Rodney Sylvia and the late Dorothy Palumbo; and the grandmother of the late Thaddeus Znamirowski Jr.
Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI 02885, where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 4-7PM. A Prayer Service will be held at 6PM.
