Obituary For Stephen Michael Siembab

Stephen "Mike" Siembab, 73, of Warren, RI, passed away, Saturday, January 7, 2023, peacefully at home with his family.

He was the beloved husband of Sandra Lee (McGovney) Siembab for the last 49 years. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Genevieve (Bucko) Siembab.

Mike was veteran of the United States Army proudly serving as a pathfinder during the Vietnam War awarded the Purple Heart Medal and Bronze Star Medal with "V" for his service to his country. Like his father, he was a carpenter by trade; and admired by all for his woodworking skills and beautiful furniture he made for family and friends. Mike loved everything outdoors, including boating, fishing, crabbing and enjoying his love for antique cars, including his 1948 Ford. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Sean M. Siembab and his wife Melissa of Warren, RI, and Christopher M. Siembab and his wife Allendre of Warren, RI, three brothers, Thomas Siembab of Coventry, RI, Frederick Siembab of Tamarac, FL, and Francis "Frank" Siembab of Barrington, RI. He was a loving Papa to his five grandsons, Jaden, Gavin, Brody, Landon, and Eli. He was also the brother of the late Joseph A. Siembab Jr., and Robert Siembab.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 2-5PM in Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 5PM in Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren followed by a military ceremony.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice, 1184 East Main Rd., Portsmouth, RI, 02871, or to the Warren Fire Department, 1 Joyce St., Warren, RI, 02885.
