  I don't think I will ever forget your voice "Now listen to me Randie", though the topics would change I'm sure your frustration never did. After 20+ years I am sure there is no one who can fill the vast gap, share the wisdom or the truth I often didn't want to see or hear like you did. Your kind nature which shined through even though you did not always want or mean to will provide comfort when your being gone, just like that, settles in. It will surely take a while, and the Cape will never be the same without dinner with you. By the way, who eats Chicken Caesar salad at the Cape anyway! My heart breaks for you, Lia.

Straight and honest though I never wanted to hear the truth you were going to throw at me. You were just watching out for me. Your love and friendship was unconditional.   The funniest night of my life was with you, Steve. In Boston, in the winter, in the snow.... We jumped on a bicycle locked to a parking meter and I pedaled as you hung on with your feet in the baskets....until we were told to "move on"....as you move on, I will miss you forever.

  Steve offered to pick up my cars last month and put new inspection stickers on them as they had expired, the night before we had throw jelly beams around the bar at the pot so when I got my cars back I went to gas one up and jelly beans poured out of the gas door when I popped it open. Next day I opened the glo e box on another car and jelly beans poured out of it all over the floor. Third day was a golf day.....got to the course to find my golf bag full with hundreds and hundreds of jelly beans in every pocket. I saw him a few days later and asked where did all the beans come from and him calmy told me because Easter was over he got a great deal on them!!!! There is still one in my gas door and it's going to stay. Cindi and I will miss him greatly. Mike Fanning
