Theresa “Terri” L. Costa, 81, a lifelong resident of Warren, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2025.

Born on July 21, 1943, she was the daughter of the late George N. Fitting and the late Antoinette (Picard) Fitting. She was the sister of the late Donald and Russell Fitting.

She was the beloved wife of Anthony “Tony” Costa Jr., with whom she shared 59 wonderful years of marriage.

Terri was a vibrant, fun-loving woman whose warmth and laughter brought joy to everyone around her. She found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren and was their biggest and loudest cheerleader at their athletic events. She also cherished simple pleasures-bowling with friends, engaging in heartfelt conversations over a cup of tea, and taking scenic drives through Colt State Park.

In addition to her husband Anthony "Tony", Terri is survived by her three children, Bekki Costa of Narragansett, Bob Costa and his husband David of the UK and Jason Costa and his wife Melissa of Bristol. She was the devoted grandmother of seven grandchildren, Christopher, Jack, Harry, Kurt, Tanor, Savhanna and Tatum. Recently, she became a great-grandmother to Lynnly Costa.

Her love, laughter, sass and kindness will be deeply missed but forever held in the hearts of those who knew her.
