Obituary For Timothy Sarasin

Timothy Neal Sarasin, 62, of Cranston, RI, formerly of 44 Warren Avenue, Warren, RI, passed away, Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at home.

He was the husband of Kathleen Ann (Patterson) Sarasin.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Donald Dana and Loretta P. (McKale) Sarasin.

Mr. Sarasin had worked as a truck driver for 44 years, having worked at A. Duie Pyle and other companies in the area. He enjoyed competitive truck driving having won many awards and playing hockey. He had been a volunteer fire fighter at Station 3 Fire Station in Warren, RI. Mr. Sarasin had also worked as a driving instructor for NETTS and A Duie Pyle. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Patrick T. Sarasin and his wife Brittney of North Kingstown, RI, and Christopher C. Sarasin and his wife Krista of Warwick, RI, a daughter, Michelle N. Sarasin of Cranston, RI, a brother, Donald Sarasin of Warren, RI, a sister, Mary Malik of Warren, RI, and three grandchildren, Rowan, Carissa and Logan. He was also the brother of the late Pamela Sarracino.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 4-8PM in Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 9AM, from Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., Warren.

Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence, RI.

    We were very sorry to have learned of my cousin Timmy's passing.My brother & I played with Skipper, Pam, Mary & Timmy a lot during their younger years.I will remember him fondly. Due to Covid, age & health conditions, we will not being attending the wake./mass..Our prayers are with you at this sad time. Micky & John Achilli

    I only knew Tim for a few years. But I know he loved his family and Cherished his friends. Tim liked to help people in the time I knew him he helped many students get their CDL license. I know I will miss him but not as much as his family. Sorry for your loss
