Obituary For Troy Lee Newman

Seekonk - Troy Lee Newman Jr., 23 of Seekonk, Ma., died unexepectedly, Thursday May 7 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was born in New Bedford, MA the son of Troy Newman and Iliana Vazquez. He was the grandson of Joanne ( Cahoon) Buckley and the Late Warren Buckley, with whom Troy lived. Troy was also the grandson of Gail Newman, William Newman, Jose Vazquez and the late Juanita Bonnes.

Troy enjoyed music very much, he played the Bass Guitar, and listened to his favorite bands Slipknot and Korn. He had a wide collection of animals lizards, snakes, spiders, scorpions and his dog Oliver. He enjoyed fishing, archery and all of the outdoors and cars. Troy had a natural talent and enjoyed drawing

However his happiest day was meeting his son Elijah, for the first time. Troy was so excited about being a dad. Besides his parents and grandparents Troy is survived by his siblings Mackenzi Newman,Taylor Smith, Iliana Andrews, Breana Andrews, Ariana Bonnes, Keith Micheal Bonnes, Jasmine Fournier, Jaida Marie Fournier.

His cousins Connor Lanoue, Heather Newman, Nathaniel Newman and Oliver Newman. He also leaves his Aunts and Uncles Melissa Lanoue and her husband Kenneth,William Newman, Jason Newman and Karena Cartwright.

He was loved by all and will be missed very much. Due to COVID 19 - A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

    It was around 2013 when I met Troy. My best friend Nikki had met him and some friends at a concert and we all connected shortly after. The night we all hung out for the first time is still one of my favorite storyâ??s to tell. We got into a little bit of trouble so I will spare the details, but Troy always had a way of making any situation into an adventure. It could be the middle of the day or 1:30 in the morning and Troy would be one person you could count on if you needed a friend. I remember I was having a really tough night one night and the two of us just sat in my car and talked about The Illuminati and he helped me feel okay again. I guess what I am trying to say is he was a great friend and even though we hadnâ??t spoken in years, the world isnâ??t as bright without him in it.

    I remember when u was in diapers at grandmas house so tiny and cute. I finally reunited with u 2 years ago thanks to my tia iliana. Baby boy Iâ??m gonna miss u, u and I where so much a like loved music and cars thatâ??s what we mostly had in common man. My heart and soul hurts for u and even more so searches for u. I know ur no longer suffering but just know that we love you and weâ??re gonna miss you.
