Valdomira C.(Moniz) Andrade, 82, of Fall River, died unexpectedly Monday, July 20, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Carlos Andrade.
Valdomira was born in Sao Roque Azores, Portugal a daughter of the late Manuel and Serafina( Furtado) Moniz. She was a machine operator for the Klearview Bo Mark Company of Fall River for over 30 years. She has lived in Fall River since 1974 coming from Portugal. Mrs. Andrade was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church, Fall River.
She is survived by her son Marco and his wife Angela Andrade of Fall River, Marco is on Engine 1 and the Rescue of the Warren Fire Dept., and an Emergency room technician at St. Annes hospital. Valdomira was the grandmother of twins Raegan and Rylee Andrade of Fall River. Mrs. Andrade was also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by all her brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 9:00 am in Santo Christo Church, 240 Columbia St. Fall River, burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River .
