Barrington - Valerie J. ( Agin) Harrison, 87 ,of Barrington, died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Crestwood Nursing Home in Warren, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Frederic Harrison.

Valerie, was born in Pawtucket , a daughter of the late Edward and Mary ( Walek) Agin.

She was always known for her compassion and sense of humor. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and she loved the beach.

Valerie raised 8 beautiful children who blessed her with 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She will be remembered as a passionate loving person, who loved her pets.

Valerie is survived by her children Mark Harrison and his wife Stephanie, David Harrison, Michael Harrison, and his wife Meredith, Chris Harrison and his wife Melissa, Annie Harrison Giuliano and her husband Michael, James Harrison and his wife Robin, Casey Harrison and his wife Heather, and now joins her late son Terry Harrison.

Valerie also leaves her pets Penni and Cleo.

She was the sister of the late Edward Agin Jr.

Valerie touched so many lives and will be sadly missed.

A funeral service will be held for Valerie on Monday ,March 11,2019 at 7:00 pm in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Monday from 5-7pm.
