Bristol -- Veronica A. ( Barbosa) Black, 75, of Bristol, died Tuesday October 3, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was the wife of Elwood Black.

Veronica was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Joseph and Aurora (Lima) Barbosa.

She was a homemaker, and has been a Bristol resident all of her life.

Mrs. Black , was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church.

Besides her husband she is survived by her sons Darryl Black of Bristol, Darrin Black of Bristol, her daughters Denise Pineault of Somerset, MA., and Lori Alegria of Rehoboth MA.. She was the sister of Joseph Barbosa of Bristol, and Aurora Aguiar of Bristol.

Mrs. Black was the grandmother of 7 and the great grandmother of 2 she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services are private.
