Obituary For Waclawa Olczykowska

Waclawa (Warda) Olczykowska, “Vatcha”, age 88, of Tiverton, quietly passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the home she shared with her daughter, Joanna Krystman and son-in-law, Paul Anderson. She was the wife of the late Stanislaw Olczykowski.

Vatcha emigrated with her daughter to the United States in 1987, living in Michigan and Washington State before arriving in Rhode Island in 1998.

She enjoyed cooking traditional Polish dishes, watching her beloved Red Sox, listening to Fryderyk Chopin, nurturing her many plants and flowers and caring for her dogs Jack and Cooper. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially on holidays.

She is survived by her loving daughter Joanna Krystman (husband Paul Anderson), step-sons Marek Olczykowski (Ela), Grzegorz Olczykowski (Magdalena) and Wojciech OlczyKowski (Ewa).
